Saturday 25th July 2009

What a busy day. We went from shop to shop to shop, getting stuff for the wedding. From shoes to wedding jewelry, wed did. We arrived at Jennie's at about 5pm, had a sausage sizzle for dinner and then finally headed home. We were all exhausted and had Sunday tolook forward too....

Friday 24th July

Flew to Brisbane this morning with Lauren and Jaiah. sad to say goodbye to rex and Bella but not enough money to go round for two trips. So off I went for a girlies week. This was Jaiah's first trip in a plane and she was so good.

Lauren was the one who had the issues during the flight. One of Jaiah's toys fell behind the seat and because we were right at the back we had to get it out ourselves. Lauren stuck her arm in but could not get it out. IT AS STUCK. It was so funny. half the plane was looking at us, the stewardess had to come and take Jaiah and another one got us some soap to soap up her arm. After about 20mins, she was free, these are the pics taken just after she was freed.

After finally arriving in Brisbane, we collected the car and headed for the sunshine coast. We decided to stop in at jennies first, stayed for about an hour and then headed to pick up the keys... The keys were not where they were supposed to be, we waited about and hour for them to be tracked down. we finally got the keys and headed to our home for the next week. We arrived there at 9pm. These pics show our home.....

We also had a bathroom with shower and a bath.Yeah!! and a washing machine and dryer. we used them a lot during our week. We finally headed for bed at about 11pm. SO tired!!!!

Thursday 23rd July

What a day...so much to do and so little time to do it. Isn't that always the way. Really felt like I went round and round in circles today. After getting to work at 8am, finally left at 5:50pm. But all is done now and I can look forward to my first girls week away. Lauren and I; with little Miss Jaiah of course, fly out to Brisbane at 9:35am. Leaving home at about 7:30 and meeting Lauren at the airport at about 8am. Bet she's late LOL.
Will be a busy week, starting with the Wedding on Sunday (Talia and Steve's) , picking up our new car on Monday and a job interview on Tuesday. Then I get to relax a little LOL.

Wednesday 22nd July

Had a lovely day today. Had the day off and spent it with the most important person in my life...MY REXY... we went to the zoo in the rain of course. We did get a bit wet but had a lovely time. It was so nice just being together. I didn't take my phone, so work couldn't contact me, it was so nice....

After the zoo we went and had Chinese for lunch and then verged out when we got home. Rex had a nap and I went and got my eye brows waxed and hair trimmed. Such a nice day....Can't wait fro my next day off.

After getting of work early today and looking very forward to having a day off tomorrow, i Did a bit of shopping, played on the puter, watcha bit of Tv with Rexy, Helped with dinner...YUMMY DEVILLED SAUSAGAES... Finished Cath's shop page and am getting ready for bed.

But through all this today I have been constantly thinking about family and have had a knot in my stomach about speaking out on behalf of a family member to another family member. I am not an aggressive person by any means. and definitely not a nasty person but on saying that I do not appreciate anyone saying anything bad about someone in my family. I now sit back and wonder whether i should have said nothing but then I think we should stand up for ourselves and those that we love. I feel sick thinking about the hurt that has been caused on so many sides of this situation and knowing that I have caused some of that hurt does not make me feel good. I do hope that God can forgive me if I have said anything out of line or innappriate and help me to deal with what I have said and done. I love my family more than anyone can imagine...from my immediate family of Rex and Bella to me extended family; brothers and sisters etc. As much as I have needed this time away from them, to become my own person and to connect with Rex, it feels good to be going home. To be near them for special occasions and for everyday moments... Can't wait for Sept....

Monday 20th July

Worked all day from 7:30 until just after 5pm..Very tired when I got home but really wanted to do some scrap booking. Did a bit on Cathy's shop from when I was in Sydney. Played on Face book and the girls (Claire (my cousin) and Sarah (Talis Friend)) put up their photos of Tali's hens night which was on Friday night. Wish i could ahve been there but at least I can see the pics.

Sunday 19th July

Nice day at home. Did heaps of packing and the boxes are starting to pile up. See pic.


However we needed to stop cause we ran out of tape, bummer hey LOL. Any excuse. It about 2 months now approx until we go, so not sure about packing up to much more just yet. Lots of time until we go.
