Thursday 23rd July

What a day...so much to do and so little time to do it. Isn't that always the way. Really felt like I went round and round in circles today. After getting to work at 8am, finally left at 5:50pm. But all is done now and I can look forward to my first girls week away. Lauren and I; with little Miss Jaiah of course, fly out to Brisbane at 9:35am. Leaving home at about 7:30 and meeting Lauren at the airport at about 8am. Bet she's late LOL.
Will be a busy week, starting with the Wedding on Sunday (Talia and Steve's) , picking up our new car on Monday and a job interview on Tuesday. Then I get to relax a little LOL.

Wednesday 22nd July

Had a lovely day today. Had the day off and spent it with the most important person in my life...MY REXY... we went to the zoo in the rain of course. We did get a bit wet but had a lovely time. It was so nice just being together. I didn't take my phone, so work couldn't contact me, it was so nice....

After the zoo we went and had Chinese for lunch and then verged out when we got home. Rex had a nap and I went and got my eye brows waxed and hair trimmed. Such a nice day....Can't wait fro my next day off.

Tuesday 21st July 2009

After getting of work early today and looking very forward to having a day off tomorrow, i Did a bit of shopping, played on the puter, watcha bit of Tv with Rexy, Helped with dinner...YUMMY DEVILLED SAUSAGAES... Finished Cath's shop page and am getting ready for bed.

But through all this today I have been constantly thinking about family and have had a knot in my stomach about speaking out on behalf of a family member to another family member. I am not an aggressive person by any means. and definitely not a nasty person but on saying that I do not appreciate anyone saying anything bad about someone in my family. I now sit back and wonder whether i should have said nothing but then I think we should stand up for ourselves and those that we love. I feel sick thinking about the hurt that has been caused on so many sides of this situation and knowing that I have caused some of that hurt does not make me feel good. I do hope that God can forgive me if I have said anything out of line or innappriate and help me to deal with what I have said and done. I love my family more than anyone can imagine...from my immediate family of Rex and Bella to me extended family; brothers and sisters etc. As much as I have needed this time away from them, to become my own person and to connect with Rex, it feels good to be going home. To be near them for special occasions and for everyday moments... Can't wait for Sept....

Monday 20th July

Worked all day from 7:30 until just after 5pm..Very tired when I got home but really wanted to do some scrap booking. Did a bit on Cathy's shop from when I was in Sydney. Played on Face book and the girls (Claire (my cousin) and Sarah (Talis Friend)) put up their photos of Tali's hens night which was on Friday night. Wish i could ahve been there but at least I can see the pics.

Sunday 19th July

Nice day at home. Did heaps of packing and the boxes are starting to pile up. See pic.


However we needed to stop cause we ran out of tape, bummer hey LOL. Any excuse. It about 2 months now approx until we go, so not sure about packing up to much more just yet. Lots of time until we go.

Saturday 18th July

Would you believe it. I was awake at 6.30am this morning. So not impressed. After the week I've had, where is my sleep in????? I potted in my study, Rex got up shortly after me and at 8am we headed into the shops to do the groceries. After that I decided to go for a wander around the shops. I was meeting up with Lauren at 12 to do my hair and I was just not happy with my outfit for Tali's wedding next weekend. Didn't have much money so went to St Vinne's and the Salvos to see what they had. Got myself some black pants and a soft/ dusty pink top and jacket set and it only cost me $5.99 fro the pants and $7.99 for the top and jacket set. Not bad hey. Lauren met me at the shops and we looked around a bit before going to her place to do my hair. I wanted the same blond and copper highlight and this is how it turned out.

Friday 17th July

Oh Thank goodness it is FRIDAY. What a week and the dramas didn't stop there. 2 staff of again today. I got woken at 7am with dramas, had to go pick up the car, which Emily had, and got to work at 7.30am. Got everything sorted before doing the grocery shopping. Came back to sort out more problems re children turning up that weren't booked in. Then had to do a completely new roster, rolls, uploads do DEEWR and then go to Swan View and do uploads over there. During all the dramas at work, came home at lunch time and Rex ghad found a car for us in QLD. We bought it after talking to the car sales guy.

So now we have a car to run around in when we arrive and won't have to hire a car. saves a bit of money. I'll pick it up when I go next week for the wedding and store it at Mum and Dad's place until we arrive.

Back to work:
Finally got home around 6.10pm. Such a long day, such a long week. Was supposed to go to Laurens tonight to get some foils put in but just to tired. really wanted to do some scrapbooking but only had the energy to think and look at pics. Maybe tomorrow.

Thursday 16th July

Again flat out at work, woke at about 5 this morning, something edging me to get up and start my day. Decided to get up and get ready and go to work to get some stuff done. Ready to walk out the door at 5.30am until I realised that Zoe had my keys. Couldn't get into the centre. Waited until 6.30am and headed down cause I new Andrea wouldn't be to far away. And I was right and the day just continued from there, finally got home at 5.15pm. Such a long day. To tired to do anything really, played on puter, watched TV and that's about it.

Wednesday 15th July

Quite a busy day at work today, cooked again; stinky tuna today YUK!!!! Came home early, really trying to use up my many many hours of time in lieu before I leave.
Finally finished a scrapbook page. Really missed it. Was supposed to be packing up my room but oh well LOL... I did Johnny and Sophie's engagement party. turned out ok. The pink colour of the flower, didn't match that of the pink in the paper, so when I did the title, I painted the pink bits of the paper to match.. came out ok. Have a look...

Tuesday 14th July

Busy day at work, cooked again...Glad to come home to my sweetie and my baby girl. Took these pics the other day, she was so NOT impressed.

Monday 13th July

Stayed home today, didn't get much sleep last night. Am still gradually packing. Working on my scrapbook room at the moment. I think there is going to be more boxes in there than the entire house LOL. Rex put his recaro seats and the beloved car up for sale today. Hoping they sell, to give us a bit of money up our sleeve for the move. Will keep you informed...

Sunday 12th July

It's been a hugely busy week, staff of left right and centre and also celebrating NAIDOC week at work. So glad the week is over.Took this of some art in the Kindy room. Love how these hands turned out of the Aboriginal Flag.


Here it is Sunday already and I fell as though the weekend hasn't even started yet..Tired so very tired. Tali and Aimee are having there joint baby shower at Vicky's today. Wish I could be there but I can't. Soon it won't be so much of a drama when we ar back in QLD. Looking forward to the wedding and my holiday with Loz. Supposed to be meeting up with the girls from Newpark today..not sure if it is still going to happen. Went shopping yesterday with Loz and Jaiah and took thi pic, so cute.



Have sold off some more stuff but was very disappointed with what we got for them on ebay. Oh well what can you do, you can't go back in time hey. Rex has got his car ready and it should be up for sale soon. One more step closer to the move. Haven't heard of a date for accreditation yet..rang on Friday and they don't ahve any dates yet. I hope it's soon, over it already. Now the decision has been made, I am ready to go. Made Tali a min scrapbook page yesterday for her Bridal shower. Her friend Sarah is making up a book for her and asked me to contribute. I'll attch it here. it turned out quite nice but 3 mistakes in the wording that I didn't catch originally, I was spewing yeasterday when I found them but I had to send it anyway cause it has to be there by Friday.

Changes

I can't believe it has been so long since I posted on this blog... So much has happened...
The biggest thing to date is the fact that Rex and I have decided to go back to QLD. There is just nothing here for us. I am sick to my stomach about leaving the best job I have ever ever had but know that we can't stay just for my job. So many changes are coming in the next few months. We have already started selling off our furniture and bit and have packed a few boxes. We are loooking at going home in Sept ish... not certain yet.

I went for a trip home to Sydney and Qld in May and had a wonderful time reconnecting with family and friends.

Lauren's little girl is nearly 6 months old and Tali and Aimee are both due in 2months. Tali is amryying her boyfriend Steve at the end of this months. i have already made the invites and also am being photographer for the special day.

So much to tell.. well tell more and show some photos soon.
